We offer both routinely scheduled and emergency surgical services to our clients and patients.
Surgical Services
We have dedicated surgical and dental suites, each equipped with high-quality monitoring and support equipment. A veterinarian and experienced veterinary assistant are assigned to be with each patient from the time they are initially sedated, through the entirety of the surgical procedure, until they are in recovery and waking up. Our patients are supported with equipment to keep them warm and stable during the surgical experience, and our anesthetic protocols are individually tailored.
Prior to surgery, we schedule a pre-operative examination for the patient, allowing the veterinary surgeon and the owner to discuss the surgical procedure and any concerns that need to be addressed. We perform blood work during this visit, which helps to ensure the patient is healthy enough to undergo the scheduled procedure. Following the procedure, a dedicated discharge appointment is scheduled to discuss any dispensed medications and/or specific instructions for the patient to follow at home.
Some of the more common surgical procedures that we perform include spays (OHE’s), neuters, ultrasonic dental cleaning and polishing, dental extractions and oral surgery, mass removals, enucleations, GI foreign body removals, as well as other soft tissue procedures.
